Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) - CFD Simulation for Pierburg GmbH

Exhaust gas recirculation helps to reduce NOx in combustion engines.

For the design evaluation and optimization, several CFD simulations were carried out. Fluid and solid domains were discretized with appropriate finite elements. The conjugate heat transfer problems were solved using multi grid acceleration using ANSYS CFX.
